Once the Yule/Christmas festivities settle down, it’s time to start thinking about New Year’s Eve and Day. That can only mean one thing~time to grab some fun headgear and the camera and head to the barnyard! Yep! Happy New Year’s Goats!
Bud getting all dressed up for the party!
Party girl Harley seems to be shouting “Happy New Year!”
Maggie was begging us to let her wear some holiday finery.
Fionn wasn’t quite as happy about the stars as he was with his Santa hat, but he managed a smile for me. Kind of…
Isn’t Cinnamon adorable in the festive horn bow?
Even MJ got into the spirit!
Finally, Millie has a very important message for everyone.
“We hope hope you all have a safe and fun celebration for New Year’s Eve.”
Linking to Jenny Matlock’s Alphabe-Thursday.
Let’s party like it’s 2099…he he! Happy New Year’s you party goats! So cute! Hugs!
Thanks! We are probably going to party like we’re 99 and just spend a nice quiet evening at home. Hope you have fun.
OMG Teresa! That was so funny! Thanks for making me laugh! 🙂
🙂
Looks like a party time on the farm!
Quite the party animals around here!
*hee-hee*
There is naught better than a beloved family member in a hat!
🙂
or a tiara!
What a great post.
Happy New Year
Glad you enjoyed your stop. Have a great 2012!
The goats and MJ are such great sports! How wonderful they are to pose for you. Happy New Year and all the best in 2012!
I was surprised how good MJ was~never even moved. The only problem I had was the wind blowing things off his huge head! Have a great new year!
Now that I know what is in I can pick up some party favors to celebrate with at my house.
Happy New Year!
Noise makers are popular too, but I didn’t buy those. Around here we call them geese. 🙂 Hope you have a great 2012!
Happy New Years… too cute.
Aren’t they fun!
Yes they are 😉
🙂 I bet your goats would enjoy a good round of dress up too!
This post really got my goat! Love these cute critters! Some look like they are really enjoying getting all decked out for the New Year. They don’t even need to bring noise makers. They each have their own unique sound. LOVE IT! Happy New Year!
They really love attention and do have fun playing dress up. Well, some of them do, and the others we respect their desire not to participate. 🙂
I’m amazed at what you can get your goats to tolerate…they must just love to party! 🙂
We (the animals and humans) do have a lot of fun with this! Harley and Cinnamon and Bud will do just about anything as long as they are getting attention.
They gotta love you:) Cute cute cute!!
I truly adore them! Thanks for stopping by.
This is such a fun post. Love those cute goats. Happy New Year, Teresa. xo
Thanks. Hope 2012 is very good to you!
Really like those polka dots!
Wishing you and your dressed for the occasion friends :o)
I do like that bow too, whether it’s on Bud or Cinnamon. Hope you have a great 2012!
Happy New Year! The picture of MJ has got to be my favorite! 🙂
He’s a big sweet cuddly guy! What can I say? Hope you have a great 2012!
Happy, smiley goats for new years, I guess you just started a new tradition for me!
Yeah! Hope 2012 is a wonderful year for you.
The goats look so cute with their New Year party hats! Cinnamon looks sweet , MJ looks content and Millie looks soooo serious (LOL).
Blessings , JoyceAnn
Millie does take her duties very seriously. Hope you have a very Happy New Year!
They’re all so adorable! Looks like the place to celebrate New Year’s Eve will be your barn!
We are party animals around here! Happy New Year.
My chickens just won’t sti still for me to put little hats on them! Love your photos, Teresa. Your animals are so gentle and well-behaved. 🙂
I’ve never thought I could get the chickens to sit still to try and dress them up. I guess goats and cattle are enough. Happy New Year.
I love these! Cinnamon wants to be a film star. I just want to hug MJ. I sent his photo (the one with your mom) to some friends and they thought I’d photoshopped him bigger. hee hee hee
He is a massive guy! MJ does enjoy hugs from people he knows. Believe it or not, he’s awfully shy. He was scared when my mom got so close to him. I think he’s just afraid he’ll end up hurting someone.
Love the festive attire! It has been a real crazy year for me, all of my animals are fine and I am hoping to get caught back up or at least get back on track. It was good to hear from you.
Glad to hear everyone is well. Hope you have a wonderful 2012!
Cinnamon IS indeed quite adorable! Happy New Year to the Iowa barnyard from the Washington one! 🙂
Thank you! We hope you have all the peanuts you want in 2012!
Maggie and Cinnamon are too, too cute….but Fionn looks to have tippled a little already!
I confess that Fionn was annoyed. I got a hat stuck over his head.
I’ve been to a party or two with an old goat or two, but none that were as cute as yours!! hee hee. Happy New Year!
Oh, thanks. They are awfully cute party animals!
They are absolutely adorable, Teresa! A party like this is fantastic.
Happy New Year!
Thanks! Happy New Year to you also!
Well, afater seeing those photos, I want to come to YOUR party!!!
Well, that’s as exciting as we get around here!
Oh, my gosh, how adorable. And your animals are so cooperative!
Most of them aren’t this cooperative. I choose wisely!
How funny! I can’t believe they didn’t shake their festive gear off and eat it immediately.
What a wonderful start to 2012! Goats all partied up!
Thanks for the smile.
Sending many warm wishes your way for a creative and fun 2012!
Thanks. Hope you have a great 2012 as well. They really are cooperative, and I don’t show the ones the see the hats and run the other direction. 🙂
