Welcome back to Friday’s Hunt. I want to thank everyone who joined in last week. I had a lot of fun visiting everyone who linked up. It’s very simple. Anyone can participate. The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter. Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to visit some of the other entries.
If you didn’t participate this week but would like to next week the topics will be: Starts with J, Week’s Favorite, and bird or wings. I will always keep a list of the items for the coming week in my sidebar at the top. I am crazy busy with teaching and working on the farm right now, but I will make sure to visit all participants. Without further ado, here’s my interpretations for the week.
Starts with I: I’ve only had two goats that begin with the letter I–Indie and Isobelle. I am sharing Indie, short for Miss Independent. She was Maggie’s daughter.
Week’s Favorite: I have all my spring break moms shut in the barnyard, and everyone else is on the back side of the barnyard. It was actually surprisingly easy to get everyone where they belong. Imagine that! Let the babies arrive! I am now on spring break!
UPDATE: I always do my Friday’s Hunt post on Thursday just in case something happens. Well, this time something happened that is my week’s favorite. Gidget (the goat I chose to put in my post last night) surprised me by having her kids a bit early. That’s because she had triplets! My first Xerxes kids!
Because she was so full, a couple of the kids have wonky legs, but they are already building their muscles up, and they’ll be perfectly fine in a few days.
Nose: Nothing cuter than a puppy nose!
Now it’s your turn!
Awwww, they are just so cute. They always look so soft and velvety when they are just dried off
…nice wet nose.
Yay for Gidget and Xerxes! Beautiful kids! Love that puppy nose!
Awww! They are all adorable! I always love the newborns! Way to go, Gidget! Of course, Sky is adorable, too!
Cute little guys,n Teresa. I hope their legs get strong quickly. Your pup is something else.
..
Sky is adorable as are the new born triplets. MAny thanks for hositn and hope this weekend goes well with the kidding
So excited to see the Xerxes kids – is anyone else carrying his kids? It looks like the doeling has some really interesting markings – the boer white belt but also some spotting. She could be quite striking!
Wanda might be for June. Not sure yet. Next year he’ll get the four first time moms.
They are al so gorgeous and thanks for hosting. HAve a great week ahead
