Friday’s Hunt v3.7

17 Feb

Welcome back to Friday’s Hunt.  I want to thank everyone who joined in last week.  I had a lot of fun visiting everyone who linked up.  It’s very simple.  Anyone can participate.  The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter.  Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to visit some of the other entries.

If you didn’t participate this week but would like to next week the topics will be:  Starts with H, Week’s Favorite, and Chiaroscuro or shadow.   I will always keep a list of the items for the coming week in my sidebar at the top.  I am crazy busy with teaching and working on the farm right now, but I will make sure to visit all participants.  Without further ado, here’s my interpretations for the week.

Starts with G:  My goats that start with G–Gaston, Gaston, George, Gidget, Gila, Ginger, Goliath, Gomez, Goober, Grace, Grace, Gretel, Grey, Grover, Grover Jr., Guido, Gus.  Currently, the only goat who starts with G is Gidget.  She’s a good girl.  She’s a lot rounder than the picture below because she’s due to kid on March 6th.

Weekly Favorite: The house kid is doing better.  Ron has gotten to go outside a few times, and I’m hoping to get him back into a pen in the greenhouse this weekend.  I’m not sure he’ll get to nurse his mom again, so he’ll probably always be a bottle kid, but he’s doing much better!

Pink:  Sky loves to lounge on his pink shower mat.  Yep, I sacrificed it to him.

Now it’s your turn!

If you wanted your mat/rug back, you could wash it and another together and put the both down. Make sure he can use the substitute, then remove the pink one. Dogs can’t tell colors so he won’t know he’s been switched.

He is looking good. He won’t care if I call him cute at his age.

Eh. I am not attached to it. Better than most things.

Gidget is beautiful! I’m glad little Ron is able to go outside a bit. Progress is good. And Sky looks great on his pink rug! Maybe he likes it because it has your scent on it. I know that (or at least some Schnauzers) can recognize certain colors. Ours would always choose a bright green tennis ball over a white one. And my daughter’s Shih Tzu will always choose a bright green toy rather than a different color. Interesting, eh?

Gidget is gorgeous! Glad Ron is improving. Sky looks great on your pink rug. I think he’s grown this week.

Gidget really is a beautiful goat – she looks very fluffy in that picture. Glad to see little Ron is moving well – his spots are very attractive. Sky is adorable, but puppies are supposed to be adorable! I keep wondering about Llenny. I hope he is eating now. I wonder if the fibre mill people have a camelid expert vet who might have an idea of what is up with Llenny.
