The alarm went off this morning, and I planned on it being a day like any other. Hop out of bed, milk the girls and then head to work. Didn’t happen that way. I was sick. I couldn’t even make it out to milk the girls until almost noon. The majority of my day has been spent sleeping, but when I did wake up, my time was spent watching Leo.
Leo was also watching.
Outside the window, we had all kinds of lovely birds just flitting around for his entertainment.
On the whole, I’d say I’ve been pretty worthless today. I don’t anticipate that changing before tomorrow, when the plan is to be back at work.
I’m sharing with Wild Bird Wednesday, Jenny Matlock’s Alphabe-Thursday for the letter W, and Rurality Blog Hop.
oh, hope it is a quick bug!
Me too. Doing the blog post was enough to wear me out again.
Pretty pictures. Hope you feel better quickly.
Thanks. Me too. 🙂
SO sorry you’re under the weather… Leo looks to be a sympathetic kitty companion… Thank you for coming by to share on Rurality Blog Hop #37!
Leo is an awesome snuggler. Today, though, I’ve had Snickers on my lap all day.
I hope you feel better now. Not a nice way to wake up! How nice, though, that Leo was there to keep you company.
I could hardly get out of bed because Leo was RIGHT THERE. He’s a sweet guy. 🙂
glad you had Leo to keep you amused!
He’s very good for that!
Yuck…poor you! There’s never a good time to be sick…glad you had Leo to keep you company!
At least it’s not kidding season. 😉
Sorry you are sick . You did a great post thank you
I didn’t even have to leave the couch to do it. 🙂
Our bodies usually tell us when we need ‘a rest’ ~ very necessary and not worthless ~ Look at the gorgeous photos you took! ~ thanks, feel better ~ carol, xx
ps. Music has ‘rests’ in the composition for a reason.
You are so sweet. 🙂 Thank you.
At least Leo kept you company while you recuperate. Get better!
Leo and Snickers have both been by my side (or on top of me) the whole time. Thanks.
Leo’s lookin’ a little lazy over there…
😉
That’s Leo’s normal look.
Feel better soon!
Thanks. I think I’m already feeling better.
Loved your title! Made me smile. Your shots are great, too!
Thanks. Really didn’t accomplish much today, so it seemed fitting.
I hope you feel better soon. It is never fun to be sick.
I am already doing better. I’m sure I’ll be back at work tomorrow.
Feel better! Though that wily Leo looks like he might be conspiring to keep you in bed for more naps! 🙂
He’d be happy if he had me all 20 hours a day that a cat sleeps. 😉
These blasted bugs just can’t leave nice folks alone! I hope you are better very soon. I love all the pretty photos you share.
Thanks, I am much better today. 🙂
I hope you get well quickly! Lots of bugs going around right now.
I am better. Spending my days in a high school exposes me to a lot of stuff.
I hope you are feeling better today. Cute kitty. I posted about birds too, but the lack thereof. 🙂
I’m sorry you don’t have feathered visitors around. We’ve lost all of our beautiful summer friends, so it’s just the plain old sparrow, but they are nice too.
Get well soon! And — lovely photos. 🙂
Thanks, Brigit.
Hope you feel better today !!!!! Leo looks like he cares !!!!! My kitty is such a loving kitty too !
I am much better today! Leo is always a sweet guy. 🙂
Glad to see that you’re feeling better. Take care.
Thanks, Pat.
I hope you are well now..hug
I am much better. Thank you.
Lucky Leo! He had great entertainment while you slept.
I hope you are feeling better now.
I’m a lot better. Leo loves to watch the birds out the window.
Lovely photos, but I hope you feel better soon!
Thanks. I am much better now!
Leo’s got the right idea – gives us all paws for thought (Oops! Sorry!)
Hope you’re feeling better.
🙂 Leo has a great outlook on life. I am much better. Thank you.
Ah. I’m sorry. I think worthless days are necessary, though.
Our bodies let us know when we’re supposed to stop.
It’s just actually listening to what they’re saying that’s the weird thing!
Hope you’re back to feeling wonderful!
And…
Seriously.
You could never be worthless.
You ARE FABULOUS!
Thanks for linking.
A+
Thanks for the kind words. Of course, I’m much better now. 🙂
