Welcome back to Friday’s Hunt. I want to thank everyone who joined in last week. I had a lot of fun visiting everyone who linked up. It’s very simple. Anyone can participate. The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter. Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to visit some of the other entries.
We are working on round four! It’s hard to believe. I did make a slight change. It will still go through the alphabet for the first prompt, but there are two other prompts that will change each week. As always, you can choose to do one or all. If you enjoy the week’s favorite, by all means continue to add that. If you didn’t participate this week but would like to next week the topics will be: Starts with P, surprise, and looking up. I will always keep a list of the items for the coming week in my sidebar at the top. I am crazy busy with work off the farm and everything on the farm right now, but I will try to make sure to visit all participants. I have to say, the change to my teaching assignment this year is really killing me. Without further ado, here’s my interpretations for the week.
Starts with O: I am still waiting on Odie (and Maybeline) to have her offspring.
City/Town: Just when I need sunshine and dry weather, the drought has disappeared, and I’m gone at work all day with rain at home. We’re also about ten degrees cooler than usual for this time of year. That is not the weather I ordered for Odie to have her baby.
Purple: I think Margarita has earned a purple heart with her battle against the coyote. She’s holding her own at the hospital. They are going to keep her through the weekend to make sure she stays hydrated.
Now it’s your turn!
Bummer on rain at this time of year. What a brave goat to take on a coyote!
Your llama ladies are lovely indeed! Waiting for the firstborn seems to be anxiety inducing for any species. Your school is attractive in its modern design despite the drizzle…Margarita is a brave mom and a lovely survivor!
Margarita is the little brown kid that was attacked. Her mom, Maggie, saved her life. Luckily, Maggie was not injured.
I’m glad Margarita is holding her own. I hope soon you’ll be able to report that she’s doing well enough to come home! The view out your classroom window looks similar to what we’ve had for the last two days! – RAIN! Hope those llama lladies have those llittle llamas soon!!
Rain and fog on this Saturday morning as well.
Looking forward to your new baby and wishing Margarita all the best.
I’m glad that Margarita has earned a purple heart for her struggles and injuries. I’d sit up with my shot gun, yard light on, so I could see the coyote.
