Welcome back to Friday’s Hunt. I want to thank everyone who joined in last week. I had a lot of fun visiting everyone who linked up. It’s very simple. Anyone can participate. The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter. Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to visit some of the other entries.
We are working on round four! It’s hard to believe. I did make a slight change. It will still go through the alphabet for the first prompt, but there are two other prompts that will change each week. As always, you can choose to do one or all. If you enjoy the week’s favorite, by all means continue to add that. If you didn’t participate this week but would like to next week the topics will be: Starts with L, landscape, and key. I will always keep a list of the items for the coming week in my sidebar at the top. I am crazy busy with work off the farm and everything on the farm right now, but I will make sure to visit all participants. Without further ado, here’s my interpretations for the week.
Starts with K: I think 2J80 is the King of the Back Forty right now. He’s certainly big and buff and impressive.
Stinky: If 2J80 is king of the Back Forty, my stinky Fionn is king of the barnyard. He does stink…
Old: I have an old goat herd. After losing my final original Saanen girl, that makes Lily my old goat at age 11 1/2. She was the first bottle kid born and raised on my farm.
Below is three generations. Lily in the back, her daughter Dolly Ann Street in front. In between are Dolly’s girls Sidney (right) and LilyAnn (left) Osboer.
Now it’s your turn!
2J80 loks like the king, and not just of the farm…Fionn looks laid back, so stinky may or may not be a term of endearment, but not care in the least. Three generation of beauties!
…don’t all goats stink?
The only stinky goats are bucks in rut.
Oh, my. Stinky can be a problem. My Hubby told me today our apartment needed to be aired out, “Smells like old people”.
2J8o is definitely Kingly! Fionn, too! I wonder how Lily feels about being the old lady….
So happy to be back and linking to your Friday’s Hunt again…..love the Angus Bull….could do with him around here.
Teresa, your goats have it made.
Is there much different in prices of having artificial or renting males?
..
I have too many to make it any kind of economical. My boys are really pretty easy to deal with, but they do stink right now. They be past the worst of it in a couple of months.
