Friday’s Hunt v4.7

18 Aug

Welcome back to Friday’s Hunt. I want to thank everyone who joined in last week. I had a lot of fun visiting everyone who linked up. It’s very simple. Anyone can participate. The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter. Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to visit some of the other entries.

We are working on round four! It’s hard to believe. I did make a slight change. It will still go through the alphabet for the first prompt, but there are two other prompts that will change each week. As always, you can choose to do one or all. If you enjoy the week’s favorite, by all means continue to add that. If you didn’t participate this week but would like to next week the topics will be: Starts with H, simple (or simplify), and green. I will always keep a list of the items for the coming week in my sidebar at the top. I am crazy busy with working on the farm right now, but I will make sure to visit all participants. Without further ado, here’s my interpretations for the week.

Starts with G: The green grass is growing in the pasture!  That makes me grin.

Candy:  Peanuts might technically be candy, but the goats sure think it’s candy.  If you don’t believe me, you can ask Clover.

Clover

Latch:  I have two different kinds of latches on this one barn door, and they are both broke.  I think I should fix them before I have a whole bunch of cattle in my barn.

Now it’s your turn!

Green is great! Peanuts are popular around here, too. Haha, yes, you might want to get your latches fixed!

I do love green – when it’s grass and leaves and trees. Just don’t ask me to wear it! I’ve never thought of peanuts as candy, but I do love their taste, especially when they are in the form of peanut butter!! Old latches have a definite charm, but when they need to be repaired….. 🙂

We’ll we have plenty of green here in northern Ireland and I’m glad your rent came so that your grass can become even greener. Thanks for hosting and have a good weekend.

Nice latch picture, Teresa. We do have latches on each backyard gate but I’d forgotten to take a picture. Did your Internet get fixed? We have been without Internet, eMail, TV, and phone for two weeks. Our neighbor has let us use his Internet but it only picks up up front in the dining room. Likely our drainage crew cut it. Phone company wants $431 or $413 to put in a new cable. We may get Direct TV.

I searched and searched for a latch photo. Need to do a better job labelling photos!

      Well, that is rather specific.

…we both have a similar latch, great minds think alike.

I love the expression on Clover’s face. Adorable. 🙂

Sorry to be so late this time around. Friday was my birthday and I was otherwise distracted. The heat is getting to my brain, too. 🙂 Here’s the link for my very late post:

    Have a blessed week!
