Welcome back to Friday’s Hunt. I want to thank everyone who joined in last week. I had a lot of fun visiting everyone who linked up. It’s very simple. Anyone can participate. The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter. Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to visit some of the other entries.
If you didn’t participate this week but would like to next week, the topics will be: Starts with W, Week’s Favorite, and machine. I will always keep a list of the items for the coming week in my sidebar at the top. I am crazy busy with teaching and working on the farm right now, but I will make sure to visit all participants. Without further ado, here’s my interpretations for the week.
Starts with V. My beautiful Victoria.
Week’s Favorite. My beautiful herd queen, Minnie Pearl.
Thankful. My three little yard goats are not going out to pasture with the herd (on the back hills), but they are going out and eating on Dead Tree Hill. I’m also thankful for the llamas that are still keeping the coyotes away.
Now it’s your turn!
Wonderful creatures
Minnie looks like she is smiling. I’m glad I have your goats to visit.
Victoria and Minnie Pearl are both beautiful!! I’m glad to know the little ones are at least going out to eat, but a little sad that they’re not going with the herd.
Victoria is beautiful with a quiet dignity. Minnie Pearl is a queen, and her look says that she knows she is farm royalty! Your pastures are beautiful in green, the snow will soon cover the land. Lovely farm!
I always enjoy seeing the personalities of your herd! Are you planning to run another Friday’s Hunt series when this one wraps up? I’m looking ahead and planning how to spend my winter 🙂
I certainly am!
Thanks — I’ll look forward to playing along again 🙂
Such photogenic goats! They both pose very nicely for you. I love the shadow and light on Minnie Pearl’s fleece. Glad to hear that the llamas are still doing their job even though Llenny has been distracted by Llove!
Minnie Pearl has a ‘wise look’ about her. Does she tell her age?
I didn’t know that llamas keep coyotes away. I doubt they eat or bite them. Probably like birds are afraid of owls, just a similar creature but so much bigger and one that gets to close for comfort.
Thanks for hosting, another round afterwards?
BTW, your Iowa Birds were too tough for our Nebraska Huskers. Next year for that too?
..
Thise 2 goats are so beautiful and so well photographed. Yes I know you are suoer business so just watch adn do NOT overdo it. Thanks for hosting adn have a wonderful weekend.
Minnie pearl is really a beauty !
I must know nothing about goats…Victoria has a beard?
It depends on the breed whether or not the girls will have a beard. My Saanen girls have amazing beards. Victoria is part Saanen.
It’s good to know that coyotes are afraid of llamas, instead of vice versa. I wonder if it’s the height and odd shape. Love the contrast going on in your photo of Minnie Pearl. Cheers!
Beautiful ladies, for sure. Glad the little ones are getting out. Coyotes have been seen recently in my daughter’s neighborhood. I told her she needed a llama! I doubt the HOA will be on board with that, though. 😉
