Frosty Morning

26 Nov

I was up early getting ready for Christmas in the Soap Room, and I was rewarded with a beautiful sunrise.  This was the view from my front yard.

It was awfully frosty though.

It was just a few minutes before the sun was no longer behind my fence post.

I was surprised how early the goats headed out to pasture.  It was still completely covered in frost.

I had two frosty llamas.  For some reason the girls decided to stay outside.  Llenny looks like he doesn’t understand it.  Don’t worry.  If the girls really want to go inside, there’s two sections in the main barn and two more buildings they could go in.

The two girls are not happy with him (notice their ears).  I’ve heard that the girls will spit on a male if they are bred, but I have no idea if that’s true or not.  Hopefully, they are bred and we’ll have crias before cold weather gets here next fall.

It’s rather funny that you have two readers with the same name.
Your sunrise was fantastic! We’ve never had one like that here in Oregon! Where we live, we’re tucked in a mountainous bowl-like valley. We do get pretty sunrises though.
It’s interesting too, that the llady llamas would stay outside on a chilly night.

It does confuse me occasionally. Have to see if there is a blog linked in to know who it is. 🙂

The llama coats must be very insulated and against the cold and the look on Llemy’s face is priceless and not surprising. That sunrise shot from your porch is magnificent.

Hello, the sky shots are stunning. Poor Llenny, the ladies look cold with the frost on them. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and the week ahead!

Incredible photos, I dread that weather making its way here and it will eventually. I hope you blow up and frame some of these majestic captures.

The colorful sunrise looks so warm, one wouldn’t expect frost. Frosty llamas, that’s a new one!
