Weather Whiplash

We had a couple of warm days without rain.  That means I decided to take advantage of it and give the geese a pool.  They really needed a full bath.

They had already had their bath.

They were so happy to see the pool that they were in and out before I could even go get my camera to take a picture of them enjoying their bath.

But I could only give them a couple of days of pool.  Because the weather was back on another downward spiral.

By Thursday evening, we were preparing for a winter weather advisory on Friday.

At least we had a beautiful sunset on Thursday.

The winds were howling.

It was bright sun and then it was dark and snowing

The temperatures dropped.

It didn’t last long, but now its brutal cold.

Then the snow squall arrived.

And it’s supposed to be brutal cold for a good part of this weekend and Monday.
