Seven Years and Seven Months

27 Nov

That’s how long I’ve been dreading this day.  That’s a long time for a cat to live with mouth cancer.

seriously snaggletoothed Snickers

Typically, they live for a couple of years after diagnosis, but it’s been seven years and seven months for Snickers.

He was gifted to me when he was just a little kitten.

He truly was a magnificient specimen.

I will miss him dearly.

He was a beautiful boy, and I’m so glad I was able to spend some time with him on my visits. I’m sad that he has gone, but I’m glad that he was with you and that you took the time to feed him eggs and do the things that helped him deal with his condition for such a long time. His amazingly long survival period is a testament to your care. Big hugs from across the miles.

I am so sorry, Theresa. I know you have been warning us, but I wish he could have made it past Thanksgiving and Christmas for you. I will pray for comfort for you. You have had so many pet losses this year.

    I know your sorrow…

I lost my dog Sami … She died November 17th

Last night I lit a white candle for my Sami and next to it a white candle for your Snickers 🕯 🕯 so their Spirits can find their way to the Heavens by the light of the flames a Path guided by the Angels…

    Be at Peace ⭐
