Friday’s Hunt v2.13

23 Sep

Welcome back to Friday’s Hunt.  I want to thank everyone who joined in last week.  I had a lot of fun visiting everyone who linked up.  It’s very simple.  Anyone can participate.  The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter. Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to visit some of the other entries.

If you didn’t participate this week but would like to next week, the topics will be:  Starts with N, Week’s Favorite, and I made this.  I will always keep a list of the items for the coming week in my sidebar at the top. I am crazy busy with teaching and working on the farm right now, but I will make sure to visit all participants.  Without further ado, here’s my interpretations for the week.

Starts with M: My magnificent Minnie Pearl, our herd queen.

Week’s Favorite:  I haven’t taken too many pictures this week, but I did wander around and take a couple of pictures one afternoon.  I can’t decide which is my favorite.

Work:  Well, my off-farm job has been horrible with the heat this week.  It leaves me exhausted and not wanting to work at home.  I did manage to find a little time to make a few wax melts and a candle.  For some reason, I didn’t have these fall fragrances done for the start of the pumpkin patch.  I’ll never be caught up with all the work I need to get done.

Now it’s your turn!

I haven’t been around for a while, but it was nice to open your post to see such a lovely portrait of Minnie Pearl!

You made those? I bet they smell great. You’re kind of amazing, you know that. I’d say the b&w with a touch of color is my fav of the wildflowers. MInnie Pearl, hilarious, looks like she knows something we don’t.

Minnie looks fabulous. I still miss Millie, but Minnie Pearl does a great job of carrying on the traditional role. I love the daisy picture with the top of the wood post visible in it – they’re all lovely but that’s my favourite.

Your Minnie Pearl is a wise looking goat. So was ‘My magnificent Minnie,” the horse I rode to high school for my first two years, New England School, Herman, Nebraska (about eight miles west of Herman). I like all your daisy pictures, they are looking sooo nice.
Don’t work too hard, just take orders for the wax melts and candles for the local folk. Then do delivery on the way home from school or on Saturdays.

Minnie always reminds me of Millie. I suppose that’s not completely fair to Minnie for she’s beautiful all on her own. I hope to be back posting next week. My new host should be all fixed by Monday. Hooray!

I like the third daisy pic best. Sweet Minnie Pearl. It’s frustrating to feel you’ll never get caught up. Hope things fall into place for you soon. Thanks for hosting!

Does Minnie Pearl have a straw hat with the tag still on it? 🙂 The daisy photos are fantastic. I like how you did the B&W/color combo. That’s like magic.
