Here we are at the end of the first week of November, and I still have flowers! I expect my mallow to bloom until a really hard freeze, and they haven’t disappointed.
But they are the only ones I expect this late in the year. My dragon’s beard celosia seems to be putting out new beards.
There are a handful of volunteers growing from the bird seed.
I have a mojito mint that seems to have found new life. I might even be able to keep it going long enough to make some mint extract.
And my tomatoes! There are blossoms.
And tons of them still ripening.
But the one that surprises me the most is my rose. It has tons of blooms and buds. That’s crazy.
But I’m pretty sure we’ve reached the end of the road.
I don’t think the mallow will even survive this.
