Today’s Scavenger Hunt Sunday items: ribbon, writing or letters, notice, silhouette, and on water. This was quite the challenge. The song for Song-ography for this week is Let It Go by Idina Menzel from the movie Frozen. I might have to see this movie. I love it’s message of being true to yourself rather than what is expected. It kind of suits my whole life on the farm.
The only easy one this week was silhouette. I love silhouettes! Myson was not quite cooperating. He turned his head just as I took his picture, but I think I like this better than what I was going for.
Ribbon. I’m not a ribbons and curls kind of girl. Not me. I don’t care who knows it! I had to get creative to find any ribbons on the farm. Finally, I noticed the African geese have a brown ribbon down the back of their necks (work with me).
Notice. When I was out in the barnyard this past week, I did notice that many of my girls are looking round.
Some are looking very round.
Writing or Letters. Knowing the goats are going to have babies in March and all the seed catalogues have me thinking about spring.
On Water. Sadly, we’re still frozen. The poor goats can barely reach the cattle tank. Yesterday, I was helping Cinderella get close enough to drink because it was warm enough to make it slick.
There’s no water anywhere outside. There’s even ice on water in the tanks.
Finally, here’s a bonus shot for Song-ography. 🙂
Hope you all have a great week and stay warm (or cool if you’re in the southern hemisphere).
