Goats in Love

22 Nov

When I see goats in love this time of year, I’m glad it’s someone who is retired.  I’m also glad there is a gate between them.

Litha is supposed to be coming back into heat.

Sam is truly in love.  Oh, those hormones.  I did also see Annie in heat this weekend, and I’m not sure how I feel about that.

Annie

I want to have as many kids as possible over spring break, but she was also out when the goats escaped, and I’m glad she wasn’t bred by her dad.

I’m sharing today with Good Fences.

I hope you’ll come back to join me for Friday’s Hunt.  I have this week’s items at the top of my side bar.

Fall Allergies

17 Nov

We are deep into fall, but we haven’t really had much cool weather.  We had record warm temperatures again today, and the allergies are killing me.

I’m ready for the predicted change that’s coming overnight.  I’m hoping that will end the daily sinus headaches.

I’m sharing with Good Fences (you can’t hardly see it for all the tall weeds in the ditch, but it is there!) and Wild Bird Wednesday.

I hope you’ll come back and join me for Friday’s Hunt.  This week’s items are at the top of my side bar.

An Old Goat

26 Oct

I’m just sharing an image of Meg today.  I can’t believe how early it’s getting dark now.  It’s hard to get outside things done, and I’m feeling the winter hibernation mode taking over.  I should be out making goat’s milk lotion to restock before the pumpkin patch this weekend, but I’m really tired.

I am sharing this with Good Fences (yes, there is a fence in the background behind Meg).

I do hope you’ll come back to join me for Friday’s Hunt.  I have this week’s items at the top of my sidebar.
