The cattle tank is working well, but I can definitely tell when it’s cold and windy.
As long as it keeps working, I’ll live with ice walls.
The goose also is a good indicator of the weather. If she’s got her beak tucked under her wing, it’s cold.
Sunday was nice–in the fifties–so I gave her a big bucket of water to do a head dunk.
I really need to get a new pool out for her, but it’s too late this fall for that.
Bob is also spending a lot of time in the house. He will still go out to avoid using cat litter and to do some hunting, but he spends a lot of time inside now.
He is really showing his age.
He is still able to jump up into the window to let me know he wants in. So I guess he’s still doing okay.
The peacock also likes to go out on the days when it is sunny and warm. And he’s feeling much better.
Finally, guess who turned six years old today.
Sky! Happy birthday, boy!
