One extra benefit of me opening the gate to the back half of the Back Forty is that the gate doesn’t move, and it makes a perfect place to scratch.
I lost track of how many goats stopped for a good scratch on their way through. Silly goats.
Or you could do it like Pretzel–just lay down and rub against the grass.
And when you’re done scratching, you’re close to the grass to start snacking.
Then there’s Zora.
She doesn’t slow down for a second because I might try to touch her.
