A Perfect Week for Kidding

14 Mar

Well, after all the drama of the up-and-down temperatures and a really cold end of the week and Saturday, things actually warmed up overnight into Sunday.  It looks like the weather for the next week is perfect for spring break kidding.

And it was just in time because my first girl was due on Sunday. When I went out to let all the girls out on the front pasture, I could tell something was up.

Seven of the eight garage girls out on pasture.

Bubbles had her baby right on schedule.

She has one big buck!

It was the perfect way to start the kidding season.

What a cutie! I thought about Bubbles all weekend, wondering when her kid would be born. I didn’t expect such a dark color, but he’s really pretty.

He’s a little lighter now that he’s dry, but he’s still adorable!

It does look like good weather in your area this week! That’s great!
We’re supposed to get rain. I hope that’s true.

I do hope you get some rain. We are still a bit dry, but not like last year.
