The Shortest Day

21 Dec

Today is the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year.

Afternoon sun on Dec. 19th.

I am truly celebrating the sun’s return to the north and the lengthening of the days.

Aurora on the hill

The goats coming up from pasture

The sun setting in the far southwest corner of pasture.

Happy Yule!
