I was going to do a wordless Wednesday, but let’s face it, I like rambling about my farm and animals. So here’s Pretzel snuggled up with Pongo. She has done really well at finding someone to snuggle with. Unfortunately, she’s reached the age where the big goats are looking at her like she’s fair game. These goats and their fighting/bullying is driving me crazy.
Here’s a bonus of Thunder. The extra horn and ears belong to his brother, but they wouldn’t pose so I could actually see them both.
They could take posing lessons from my sweet boy, Pluto.
I had to chuckle at Haley up in the manger napping. I am so glad she’s recovered and done well after the surgery on her ankle. I really do adore her.
Dolly and Aurora were lounging in the barn doorway Sunday morning.
It ended up being another scorching day before the rains cooled us down into more fall-like temperatures.
Speaking of which, happy Mabon! It’s the first official day of fall. Soon my beans will be harvested and it will be the end of the farming season. Well, as much as it ever ends.
This little wooly bear showed up. I’m not sure what a solid cream means. Hopefully, not stupid record-breaking cold.
I’m ready for cool weather and shorter days to hibernate.
Hopefully, it means Bob will come in for the winter and quit fighting too.
