Blaze Valentine Blackboer

7 Apr

Blaze and her twin sister, Bonnie were born the year I had two little brother bucks get out and give me all kinds of oopsie babies.  They were awfully cute and Blaze was sweet.  I couldn’t part with either of them.

Bonnie and Blaze

She was a really good mother, but she had a habit of having oopsie babies of her own, including her last little girl, 2TC.

Blaze and 2TC

She was known to let her grandkids nurse along with her own kids.  I don’t know how she ever fed any kid as messed up as her udder was.  She truly had the worst udder on the farm.

Blaze

She came from Kizzy, my first truly spotted girl, and she keeps passing those spots on.

Three Generations: Blaze, Gidget, and Kizzy

I will miss her.

Oh no…another sad loss for you. I generally think of them doing better through the summer, so I’m sad that this loss is at the beginning of a new season. I’m glad you have lots of cute kids to enjoy and hope that keeps you smiling.

I was hoping she would make it through the summer, but she has dropped weight in the last few weeks, so it was time to say good-bye.

She was a pretty lady. Hope you can see bits of her in her off-springs. Hugs to you for another loss.

Teresa, I’m very sorry about the loss of your beautiful Blaze. I know you will miss her. I will, too. She was special with her lovely coloring. You have my sympathy.
