Five Degrees

20 Feb

Our temperature got down to 5°F (-15°C) overnight.  That is the first time in two weeks we’ve had overnight lows above 0°F (-17.78°C).

Pluto

It makes for a much better start to the day.

Mr. Peacock

The goats were quite bouncy and excited for the more close to average temps.

With a return to more normal weather, it means I spent today working to get everything back to how it should be.

Odie

But that’s for another post or two.

After not having power at our apartment since late Sunday night / wee hours of Monday morning we were able to return home on Saturday. There are still a few apartments in our building without power. In addition our water system is not requiring water boiling. And now the snow is all gone except in the shade. It will not last long as is is 67 outside now. That is the big difference for Texas, the temperatures rise quickly. Take care.

Glad to hear things are improving for you. I have been worried.

There have been a lot of nasty storms across the country. Thankfully, we escaped the latest one in our area! I feel so sorry for all those in Texas and other places! Like Iowa! Take care, Teresa!

We are at least equipped for it. Our infrastructure can handle it. Gald it missed you.
