The Garden is Growing

4 Jun

The rain last week was good for my garden.

It has, however, made it challenging to keep up with the weeds.  I’m also not a fan of weeding in horrible heat, but I’m working on it.

I am grateful for the help my mother has given me as well.

Besides the garden, I do have some raspberries that are growing in my yard (thanks to the birds).

My cherry tree is loaded with fruit.

I was worried that the late frost would damage them, but they look good.

Your garden is looking good! I hope it continues to do well for you. The trouble with rain is that it also makes the weeds grow!

Weeds are the bane of gardeners. My MIL did not have livestock to feed hay so she always kept some hay to use a mulch. She had a huge garden and found working in it a joy. She did not have goats or llamas or any other livestock, except FIL, to take care of daily.
