Between everything I am doing here on the farm (working and putting goats back in and fixing fence), I have still been knitting. I might have shared the start of a sweater with you a while back, but I scrapped that. I did however, do a summer sweater.
I’m really happy with how it turned out. Of course it took two tries.
The first one fit my mom, so she got it as a Mother’s Day gift. Luckily, the second one fit me.
I am especially proud of it because I made the pattern myself. I took the idea of alternating between the drop stitch and garter stitch from another sweater pattern, but that was it. I’ve also been making more scarves.
This one is going to be an infinity scarf. It’s the third one I’ve made like this. I have one and gave one as a gift. We’ll see what happens with this one.
This one is the same stitch–a rice stitch, but I used a bit smaller needle.
I also just ordered a pattern to try a sweater with sleeves. We’ll see how that goes.
