Vinnie

8 Oct

Vinnie is half of the Pistol and Vinnie twins that Dolly had on March 14, 2010.  Her real name is Vinegar.  It fit her perfectly, and I occasionally had to drag out her full name when she was naughty.

Vinnie stayed on the farm because I could not catch her to sell her.  Really.  She has kept that obstinate streak for her entire life.

This year’s kidding and the copper and her age and bad weather was finally too much.  We said good-bye to her on October 7th, 2019.

Even though she was a crank, she made me laugh.  She’s the one who got stuck between boards when her pregnant belly got too big, and we had to cut her out.

She’s the one who wore the magic buffalo coat and made everyone run from her.  She always did want to move south to warmer climates.

I will miss her.

Awww, Teresa, I’m so sorry! I’ve always thought Vinnie was a very funny and fun character! I didn’t realize that you had kept her because you couldn’t catch her. I know you’ll miss her very much.

Really sad to read this. Glad she lived with you though – she had a fun goat life.
