Goats in Pasture

12 Aug

Since we’ve mowed the Back Forty, I’ve let the goats out on the back part again.

They are really enjoying it.

Even though we have horrible dry conditions, they still have lots to eat out there.

Cupid

Dolly

Not only is it good to eat, they can enjoy lying down and rubbing on the grass.

Bubbles

Apparantly Bubbles has been watching her maa, Mary.

Mary

Like mother; like daughter!

Penelope tried that too, but she couldn’t help but grab a blade of grass to nibble on.

Penelope

They spend a crazy amount of time out there wandering around and napping and eating.

LilyAnn and Ringo

Victoria

Pepe

Some of my June kids go out; some are still staying in the barnyard.

Cookie and Marge

Aphrodite feeding Button

Myson, as usual, was glued to my side.

At least, this is one fence Hera isn’t going to get stuck in. Thank goatness!

Hera

I am really  happy to have Pluto back with everyone.  He’s such a sweet little guy.

Pluto

We’re all enjoying the mowed grass.

I just got such a smile out of the “rollers” – they look so cute! Not to mention, happy!
I’m afraid the benefit we got from our little bit of rain is gone, making it time to start dragging hoses again. :(r
