Lily

12 Apr

My dear sweet Lily Bean.  She was the oldest goat on the farm at almost thirteen.

She was the first bottle kid born on the farm that I kept.  She was one of three that year, and she is the last one left.

Lily with Dolly; Lily with her bucks Rover and Red; Lily with her first kids Rickie and Dolly; Three generations–Vinnie, Dolly, and Lily

She has so many descendents here that she will always live on, but I will miss her.

    That special face
    That none replace
    Leaving a heart
    With a hole.
