Another Snow Event

17 Feb

Overnight Saturday and into Sunday we had another snow event.

It was at least a fairly pretty and safe event (as long as you weren’t driving).  There wasn’t horrid cold or ridiculous wind.

There was just a lot of snow.

Bob was not happy, but he really hates cat litter, so he braved the snow before I even had anything scooped clean.

Bob Cat

He was actually more brave than Sky about getting out there.

“Do I have to get off the deck and go potty?”

Rocky thinks that is crazy.  Going outside is never necessary.

I had to scoop before I could let the birds out.  Not that anyone besides the widow goose would even think of going out in all this snow.

Annie, Hilda, and Wanda checking out my 1 1/2 hours worth of shoveling.

I got everyone shoveled out again, so I could do chores.  I did try to clear as much as I could because our next “significant snow event” is looking like Tuesday into Wednesday.  I’m going to run out of space to put all this snow.

I might start a countdown to spring.  We are all more than ready.

I think you and a lot of other people are ready for spring!! We’ve had a lot of snow and rain compared to the past few years. So we’re actually happy to have the moisture. We’ve had one to two inches or so of snow in the morning, and it’s usually melted by mid-afternoon or so. I certainly wouldn’t want as much as you’ve been getting!! Maybe you should rent or invest in a snow blower…?

You must be an expert snow shoveler by now, Teresa. Hope you get some respite soon. 😘
