Since I put the two little bucks in with Tony, that means I let Hera out of the Love Shack too.


It took her a little bit to find her maa, Gidget.  Hera seems to be as tall (or taller than) her maa now.

She also had to get reacquainted with the rest of the herd.

I hope she doesn’t go back to being a wild thing.

I also hope she’s going to have Anubis babies in June.

    Ahh, the fun of reading about your goats! It seems odd that Hera would have too become reacquainted with the rest of the herd.

      They are a lot like a gang. They have to fight their way back in if they are separated for any length of time (like an hour). Because she’s so young it was mostly just sniffing and a couple horn taps.
