Escape!

20 Jan

I came home Thursday afternoon to discover Daisy butting heads with Annie through the fence.  This was not a good thing because Annie is shut on the far side of the barnyard and Daisy was supposed to be locked in the greenhouse.

Annie

There was not a single goat in the greenhouse.

Daisy and Zeus where they belond

That means I had a teenaged hormone crazed buck on the loose with my old ladies.  The ones that it would probably kill to have kids.

Zeus

I took the food pans in the greenhouse and fed everyone in there so I could catch my old ladies and throw them back out.

“What do you mean I’m too old and fat to start having kids now?” Coral.

Of course, by that time, it’s hard to know if he managed to breed any of them, so they will all be getting shots to prevent any oopsie babies.

Betty Lou

Luckily, I had already divided the herd of old ladies in half, so it’s only six that were with him.

Oh dear! That must have been upsetting for you! It’s good to know that you can give your dear old ladies those shots.
