Vixen

6 Sep

When the goats came up from pasture last night, Vixen wasn’t with them.  I found her in pasture already gone.  I think she must have had a heart attack from the anemia.

Vixen Osboer (18 March 2010 – 5 September 2018)

I will miss my girl.  She was not friendly.  I couldn’t touch her unless I had food.  Then I couldn’t get rid of her.  But she always made me smile.

So sorry to hear of Vixon’s sudden passing. When you write about your animals, you impart their different, special personalities. As always, best wishes .

The love you have for each of your animals shines through in every post. And so does the loss you feel when they pass. Sorry for this most recent loss.

I’m saddened to read about her passing. She had a strong Saanen look to her and reminded me of your original goats. I’m hoping that now that the copper issue is in check, untimely passings will be increasingly rare for your flock.
