Jealous Much?

13 Jun

I am still working really hard to get Aurora back to full weight.  I can actually see results!

“It’s hard work gaining weight.” -Aurora

I am giving her llama/alpaca feed twice each day along with being able to eat from pasture whenever she wants.

I will say that three other llamas are ridiculously jealous of her.  They stand at the gate the entire time she’s eating.  Worse, if I put it on a fence where they can’t reach it, but it’s close to them, they spit at Aurora.  Seriously.

I’m not buying the big brown eyes looking like they are starving.

“Please, please, please, feed me too. I’m starving.” -Buster

I keep telling Aurora to keep eating until she looks like Maybeline.

Maybeline

Hopefully, it will be fairly soon the way she’s been eating.

Aurora really is looking a lot better! I can’t see any ribs sticking out! I guess we can’t really blame the others for being jealous – but spitting? How rude!!
