When I Got Home

18 May

Yesterday, I hurried home from work, but when I got there it was too late.  It looked like something had died on my driveway.

I opened the garage, went in, and saw naked llamas!  Holy smokes!

The gentleman who came to shear them and do their hooves was early, so he went ahead and sheared them before I got home.

Buster–quit hiding and show us your fancy new shearing.

He did text me later to make sure everything was to my liking.  He also shared that Maybeline decided to just stand in the garage, so he sheared her and trimmed her toes without her ever moving.  That was a first for him.  Everyone else was put in the stanchion to hold them.

They look really good, but I can see how skinny Aurora still is.  Antigone wasn’t sure if that was her friend or not.

Odie and Maybeline were thrilled to be let back out of the garage so they could go roll in the grass.

They did make it out to pasture (but forgot to take Aurora).

Finally, they did all get back together in the barnyard.

They took Aurora with them out to pasture when they went back out again.  I’ll keep a close eye on her, but I hope she will continue to gain weight and strength.
