I Miss My Bird Feeders

12 Feb

I really do miss feeding the birds and seeing all the different ones I can attract.  That would be Sky’s fault since he thinks feeders are really just bait for him to catch the birds.

They’ll have to just live out in the barn.

Maybe some day the dog will grow up and I can have my feeders in the yard again.  Yeah, right…

Is there some other way you could set them up? It’s no fun, to have to give them up when you enjoy the birds so much. We’re still feeding several Anna’s hummingbirds, who’ve been here all winter. Fed them last year, too. They’re very nervous and flighty, though.

I was going to try and find somewhere outside the fenced yard, but we went stupid cold, so my shepherd’s hooks are frozen in for the winter.

I have that problem with the cats, thinking the bird feeders are their personal buffets.
Sky is one special pup! 😉 ❤
