Welcome back to Friday’s Hunt. I want to thank everyone who joined in last week and over the last two years that I’ve been hosting. It’s very simple. Anyone can participate. The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter. Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to visit some of the other entries.
Hard to believe this is the last one. I am really going to miss Friday’s Hunt, but it’s not fair for me to keep doing this when I can’t be a good hostess. Hopefully, my job will settle down (or at least summer will get here), and I’ll be able to spend more time visiting all my blogging friends.
Without further ado, here’s my interpretations for this week.
Starts with Z: Of course, I’m using Haley’s adorable little girl, Zinnia.
Reflect(ion): I know this picture is a bit odd with the kitten out of focus, but I kind of like it. It makes me wonder about what she might have been watching so intently out the window. This certainly is the time of year for reflection and goal setting.
The End: I love the back side of llamas, but Mayveline has the most floofy tail end I’ve ever seen, so here is “the tail end” of Maybeline. I did find out when the ISU vets were here yesterday that neither Maybeline nor Odie are expecting crias. I’m sad about that.
Now it’s your turn!
…I hope to see you out and about when things settle down for you. Happy New Year.
I’m so sorry about Maybeline and Odie! I really did wonder, though, since they never did get tummies on them. So disappointing. I will miss your Friday’s Hunt, too. You always made it interesting. There’s something special about the picture of Noelle – with the trees in sharp focus, and her just a bit, well, softer – I think it’s perfect!
Thanks for being such a great host for the Friday Hunt’s. I have learned over the last 6 years of blogging memes come and go. But we can still visit each other. Sorry about the llamas.
Thanks so much for hosting, Teresa and happy new year to you!
Been loving that cat. I never had a black cat. Mom, of all her cats, never had a black one that would let us pet or play with him. Must have had a bad Halloween experience!
You aren’t cheating on us, Teresa, but I know you are neglecting yourself some with the Friday’s Hunt to tend. I have loved it and hope to keep up with you still. Plus you will have more time to write poems. Incidentally, my last one is about doing “more” to have “more”.
Plus Tom of the Backwoods Traveler, first posted comment above, http://backroadstraveller.blogspot.com/, will be doing the Alphabet starting next Friday. Se you there then.
