Welcome back to Friday’s Hunt. I want to thank everyone who joined in last week. It’s very simple. Anyone can participate. The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter. Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to visit some of the other entries.
STOP: ANNOUNCEMENT:
I keep saying my off farm job is killing me this year, and it is. I spend way too much time in the evenings creating lessons for my world history class. Starting with the new semester, I start over with what I’ve been teaching (World History I) for one section, but the other section continues on (World History II). That means an additional prep for me. On top of that my English assignment has changed structure this year, and it is absolutely driving my over the cliff. Really. I had to go get medicine for high blood pressure. Hopefully, that can end when this school year is done. The point of this rambling is that I feel guilty that I haven’t been able to come around and visit people. As much as I have loved doing Friday’s Hunt, next week, when we finish volume four, I am going to have to stop. I just can’t keep up with everything, and, sadly, I can’t quit the off-farm job.
Next week will be Starts with Z, reflect(ion), and “The End.”
Without further ado, here’s my interpretations for this week.
Starts with Y: The youngest member of my farm family. She is a PYT.
Tree: She was taking a bath on the cat tree. This one is purrfect for shadow also.
Shadows: That means I’m just sharing another picture of my Noelle for this prompt. Although, there are shadows on the wall.
Now it’s your turn!
Your Noelle surely is a PYT, I think she knows it too.
I am one who is sorry to see you leaving the hosting of the Alphabet meme. I write mostly for my relatives and friends to keep them posted. Blogging isn’t doing real well as of late. But yes, I can see the overload. Teachers shouldn’t be burdened to this point. My SIL retired early to escape constantly being assigned new classes. She thinks it was to help her decide to leave so they could hire some less paid new blood teachers in her place. But retirement is good, take it from Mrs. Jim and me. She retired in 1999, I in 2001.
..
Sadly I have too many years before I get to retire. I am glad I get to keep up with you on FB.
Well, I feel rather silly having to ask this, but what does PYT mean?
I’m sorry you have to cut back on your load, Teresa. You do such a good job. I understand.
Pretty Young Thing (Michael Jackson). 😉
Thank you! I asked my daughter and a friend and neither of them knew!
First things first! Sorry, you have to stop, but your health is worth it:) A Merry Christmas to you!
Too much is too much, then it isn’t a pleasure anymore. Thanks for having done the ABC, but I really can understand you. I hope you won’t stop the goat photos ! I love them.
Wish you a Merry Christmas !
…Teresa, thanks for hosting Friday Hunt, beginning January 5, 2018 I will be hosting The Weekend Roundup. Merry Christmas.
I will miss coming over to see the weekly selections but will be checking up on the farm!
Have a Merry Christmas.
