Puppy Rule #11

2 Jul

There is an old saying about stopping to smell the roses. I think it’s true of all flowers.

It’s good to enjoy their scent.

It’s good to enjoy their beauty.

We do not have to eat them.  Please, Sky, do not eat my flowers!

Or my house plants.  You are not a vegetarian.

I hope you’ll come back to join me for Friday’s Hunt.  I have this week’s items listed at the top of my side bar.

Oh yes! They’ll eat all sorts of things! When we still had my best ever mini Schnauzer, Tobye, she loved to catch and eat the pesky flies that would come into the house and buzz against the glass door! Then when we moved to Oregon, we’d take her huckleberry picking. She’d eat the berries I would drop. Then I got smart and showed her how they hung on the bushes!! Oh boy! Did she ever have a ball after that!! So cute!

Oh Dear Yes flowers are a NO NO for Sky. I hope he learns this lesson quickly before summer is over

Hello, I hope Sky does not eat all your flowers. They are so pretty. Happy Monday, enjoy your day and the new week ahead! Wishing you and yours a happy 4th of July!

Uh-oh–another puppy rule! My mallow didn’t make an appearance this year, or it’s lost in the wildflower jungle.

I keep telling Phoebe that she isn’t a herbivore either. But she doesn’t listen. She likes daylillies. 😦
