New Arrivals

27 Jun

Since losing Llenny, I have debated what to do with my llady llamas.  I hope they are bred.  If they are, should I keep the babies?  How will I breed them again?  Should I just get rid of llamas?  With all that wishy washy thinking, I did the only thing I could when the opportunity came up.  I’ve added five more llamas to the farm.  Here they are:

Ollie is the breeding male. He’s just coming of age to be breeding girls.

This is Farina.  She is the youngest female at three.

Buster Brown is a ten-year-old wether.  He’s part miniature.

Estarr is the old llady at sixteen.

Finally, we have Aurora, who just turned seven.

I might have to start thinking of myself as a goat and llama farmer.

I do hope you’ll come back to join me for Friday’s Hunt. I have this week’s items at the top of my side bar.

I hope so too. They certainly had my geese scared tonight. I’ve never seen them retreat to a building before.

I know I’m really late commenting on this (so busy!) but I wanted to say what a huge surprise it was to read about the new llamas, and how excited I am to continue watching their story. Aurora’s fleece looks like it would be lovely for dye work. They are all beautiful.

I am still trying to figure out what to do with Odie and Maybeline’s fleece. It takes too long to send it off. I have no patience.
