Welcome back to Friday’s Hunt. I want to thank everyone who joined in last week. I had a lot of fun visiting everyone who linked up. It’s very simple. Anyone can participate. The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter. Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to visit some of the other entries.
If you didn’t participate this week but would like to next week the topics will be: Starts with S, Week’s Favorite, and family. I will always keep a list of the items for the coming week in my sidebar at the top. I am crazy busy with teaching and working on the farm right now, but I will make sure to visit all participants. Without further ado, here’s my interpretations for the week.
Starts with R: All the goats on my farm that started with R–Rainie, Ralph, Raven, Red, Red, Reddy, Reggie, Reva, Rickie, Ricky, Robbie, Robin, Rocky, Rocky, Roi, Rolly, Ron, Rose, Rosie, Rover, Ruby, Rudy, Ruff, Rufus. Below is Reva. I first said she was due in March, but as we got closer, I wasn’t so sure. I did sort her in with the March moms, but I had already figured she hadn’t gotten bred, so she gets this year off.
Week’s Favorite: The weather! I am so glad to be back to beautiful spring weather.
Window: Snickers and Rocky were enjoying the window. Yeah. My window really is that dirty (paw and nose prints).
What were they looking at?
Sky found an old basketball. He was enjoying it.
Now it’s your turn!
Nice warm Spring day in your neighborhood – send some back East please 🙂 Cats in windows are a recurring theme, our Linus works well in my post. Sky is acting like an inquisitive and great looking canine!
Do the lady goats ever seem to mind not having a baby of babies to care for? Like, do they ever get jealous? Sky is cute with his basketball. And we had a day and a half of spring/summer type weather this week! Now we’re back to rain!
Depends on the goat. Most are okay with not having kids.
Nice weather picture, Teresa. It looks so pretty, pastoral. Reva probably needed a break.
For the “R’s”, we had a goat named Roger. Roger even had a birth certificate a hospital one. I would kid about him drawing Social Security, some didn’t appreciate the joke.
..
I was wondering also whether Reva minded not having a little one this year?
She is content to eat and hang with her mom.
Sky is growing up so fast – he has almost outgrown his puppy look. Beautiful shot of the goats in the pasture. I’m glad that the spring weather has returned!
