Hooves

As we get closer to winter weather, I’m trying to get everyone’s hooves trimmed.  You might not have noticed Victoria’s feet in the image I shared a couple of days ago, but it was embarrassing how her feet looked.  They have been trimmed!

It hasn’t been an easy task.  Our weather has been damp this fall, and their feet are horrible.

It looks like I didn’t do a very good job of evening them up, but they have to feel better.

I managed to get nine set done Saturday.

The rain on Sunday prevented me from doing any then.  I will keep trying to get them done though.

Drying Up

My girls are drying up.  I’m really afraid I’m going to be out of milk before I’m done needing it to restock lotion for the rest of the holiday season.  I am getting about a cup a day from Cinnamon.

I did see Litha letting Princess nurse the other day.  Suppose I could convince her to let me have some milk?

I’m guessing they would both veto that idea. Although I’m pretty sure I could use that milk more than Princess.
