Welcome back to Friday’s Hunt. I want to thank everyone who joined in last week. I had a lot of fun visiting everyone who linked up. It’s very simple. Anyone can participate. The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter. Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to visit some of the other entries.
If you didn’t participate this week but would like to next week, the topics will be: Starts with P, Week’s Favorite, and whole. I will always keep a list of the items for the coming week in my sidebar at the top. I am crazy busy with teaching and working on the farm right now, but I will make sure to visit all participants. Without further ado, here’s my interpretations for the week.
Starts with O: The Great Outdoors! I love this time of year. We have just started to see hints of color in the leaves, but the corn fields are turning, and harvest is under way (not on my farm yet, but it has started around the area). This is my pumpkin patch! Yep. It’s all water hemp and a couple of thistles. At least that keeps the goldfinches happy. There are actually pumpkins in there too, but you can’t easily get to them. We are cutting them and taking them up to the pumpkin patch building.
Week’s Favorite: I have to go back to last weekend at the pumpkin patch for my favorite. With the calendar changing to October and cooler weather, we were quite busy this weekend. I got to see family and friends and strangers and it was nice. It was busy enough that I had to spend some time restocking my inventory for this weekend.
Eyes: I llove those big lliquid llama eyes.
He looks pretty much camouflaged next to the dry beans.
Now it’s your turn!
