Friday’s Hunt v2.7

12 Aug

Welcome back to Friday’s Hunt.  I want to thank everyone who joined in last week.  I had a lot of fun visiting everyone who linked up.  It’s very simple.  Anyone can participate.  The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter. Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to visit some of the other entries.

If you didn’t participate this week but would like to next week, the topics will be:  Starts with H, Week’s Favorite, and single.  I will always keep a list of the items for the coming week in my sidebar at the top. I am crazy busy on the farm right now, but I will make sure to visit all participants.  Without further ado, here’s my interpretations for the week.

Starts with G:  Here’s a couple of my goat guys, Myson and Chocolate.  It looks like Chocolate is dreaming of the day he’ll get to be as big as Myson.

Week’s Favorite:  The butterflies this year have been amazing!  I can go outside pretty much any time and take a hundred photos of the butterflies.  I’ve never seen so many and cooperative too!

Wheels:  My summer wheels, the Ranger.  It’s a big help on the farm.

Facebook was kind enough to share a memory with me today that also perfectly fit for wheels (thanks, Claire).  It’s from five years ago when Victoria was just a little kid!

Your goats are so adorable – I thought a cat could sleep just about anywhere. But not on a tractor wheel like Victoria 🙂

    They seem s adaptable!

Thanks. The kids love to find anything they can fit into to sleep in/on. They do make me laugh.

Before I even came here I knew your “G” would be goats 😀 Great Butterfly macros & the Goat in the Tractor Wheel made my wife & I both laugh.

P.S. I started this cycle of Friday’s Hunt with “A” & was going to do them all but got sidetracked with other stuff & missed D, E & F. Back on to it now though

Last round, I actually used the geese for G, but I guess the goat guys worked this time. Glad to have you joining in again!

I remember that picture of Victoria…has it been years already….wow…And Chocolate is so cute and getting so big, I am sure he will be as big as Myson soon, and your butterflies are just amazing. I haven’t had many this year…Thanks for the challenge and the post.

Thanks! I can’t believe how quickly the kids grow up. What a shame not to have many butterflies this year.

I love that second butterfly orange with polka dots! And your last photo is priceless.

That’s a fritillary. They are cute little ones.

Myson is my favorite, at least for now. Victoria was great competition, I think you bribed her with honey spread on the rim of your wheel to get her to pose so nicely. I hadn’t really thought of it much, but we don’t seem to have butterflies out here on the west, old rice field and pasture area, part of Houston. North with hills we did have lots of them? Duno.
    .. 🙂 ..

I’m surprised you don’t have many butterflies. We have so many this year. They are everywhere. I’m really enjoying it. The goat kids always enjoy sleeping in those out of the way places. They are cute.
