The pasture across the road from me was rented out this year. There are new neighbors. When I was on my walk last night, they seemed to want to come meet me.
I did think it was a bit rude they way they just stared at me.
This one was especially curious.
It didn’t take them long to decide they didn’t really want to get to know me any better.
It makes me miss my cows.
I do hope you’ll come back and join me for Friday’s Hunt tomorrow. I have the items for this week at the top of my side bar.
Tonight I’m sharing with Good Fences.
I think that cows are so pretty. I wish they didn’t put so many tags and brands on them. I’ve had them approach me when I’ve stopped to photograph them, too. David said it was because they thought I was bringing them food. I felt bad about getting their hopes up.
Your photos are great. You live in a beautiful area! Have a blessed weekend.
Cows are quite curious. Most times, they only tag what is necessary. It looks to me like they have tags for fly control, so that is much better for the cattle than having flies.
Flies are bad news, I know, and very annoying. Are the fly control tags some sort of repellent? Have a blessed day. 🙂
I’m not sure how they work, but I’ve seen them before.
Whatever they do, I hope they work for those cows. I’ve seen cows in the past with flies swarming all over them. I know how having just one fly around me irritates me to no end. I can’t imagine having hundreds to deal with at once.
so cute and young!
It really did make me miss my cows. They are cute.
Hello, they are so cute! It is nice they all came to say hello to you! Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
It was funny they way they just all had to come stare at me. Like they’d never seen anyone walk down the road before.
They’re too funny! I enjoyed the pictures!
Thanks, Jeanne.
I think those cows probably didn’t think that your jewelry was up to par. I mean, clearly, they have a lot of bling on their ears. I suggest showing up next time with big gold hoop earrings and flashy chains. Hee hee hee!
I am certainly lacking in the area of bling. Guess I’ll have to fancy up before my next walk.
since I’m not a country girl – they always seem like tall dogs . . curious, fun with lovely eyes.
That’s actually a pretty good description!
Maybe they were lonely for their humans….
Could be!
They look so cute perfectly lined up. The one that came to see you is a real beauty!
They really were funny to watch.
What a fun series. It was cute how they were curious at first and then turned around and headed back the other direction.
Thanks, Ida. It really did make me miss having cows.
