Friday’s Hunt v2.5

22 Jul

Welcome back to Friday’s Hunt.  I want to thank everyone who joined in last week.  I had a lot of fun visiting everyone who linked up.  It’s very simple.  Anyone can participate.  The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter. Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to visit some of the other entries.

If you didn’t participate this week but would like to next week, the topics will be:  Starts with E, Week’s Favorite, and bounce.  I will always keep a list of the items for the coming week in my sidebar at the top. I am crazy busy on the farm right now, but I will make sure to visit all participants.  Without further ado, here’s my interpretations for the week.

Starts with D:  My darling diva doeling Daisy!  She’s a sassy stinker like her maa, Bambi.  I have to work to catch her because she thinks it’s fun and games to bounce away from me, but once I do catch her, she’s all sweet snuggles.

Week’s Favorite:  This week, I think my favorite is the butterfly from pasture.

Summer or Winter:  Since I’m in the Northern Hemisphere, I’m sharing some summer scenes.

Now it’s your turn!

Great photos as always. Your butterfly is the Great Spangled Fritillary (Speyeria cybele). Such a great shot – they always seem to fly away before I am able to capture them on film! Snuggles to Daisy!

I love that you always know what my birds and bugs are! Thank you!

Daisy and Darling are perfect together 🙂 It may be hot in Iowa, but the birds and flowers are very cool…

Well, they are wilting right now. Hopefully, we’ll have cooler weather next week.

I prefer your Daisy to the daisy flower I shared. She is a beauty! Mallow is one of my favorite perennials. Mine didn’t do much this year, only a couple survived outside the wildflower meadow; if there were others, they were well-hidden in the masses. You found all kinds of pretty things to share this week.

I was surprised to see the mallow because the young bucks in the yard had been eating the plants down. I do love it!

        I’m glad they missed one!
