Blessed Rain!

30 Jun

Once again, we had a chance of rain.  As usual, I saw the clouds gathering.  This time, instead of moving away from the farm, they kept rolling in.  The thunder announced the storm, and I waited.

The corn waited.

The pumpkin patch and pasture waited.

The goats were oblivious.

Then they took off for the barn.

The raindrops began to hit the window.

I was even rewarded with a rainbow on the back side of the storm.

We’re still way behind in our rain, but this one was a huge help.

I do hope you’ll come back to join us in Friday’s Hunt as we begin a new round tomorrow.  The items for the hunt are listed at the top of my sidebar.

How many days like this do you think it will take for your farm to catch up on its water needs?

We are probably still four or more inches behind. It would take quite a bit, but this really helps.

Oh yes, it definitely does! And, it gives all of you hope for more. 🙂

Hopefully they will grow quickly. Replanting put them a bit behind.

I’m so thankful for that rain! I loved the way you wrote about it, too! Another rain would be good in a couple of days, right? 😊

❤ It is a relief; although we are still horribly dry. Hope your weather has calmed down some.
