Weekend Hodgepodge

22 May

As summer gets closer, the bleeding hearts are almost done blooming.  This one still looked pretty though.

While I was working in the garden this weekend, (more on that in a later post) I saw a butterfly.  It flew all over and when it finally settled, it was on me.

It was kind enough to move to the peony and pose there too.

The peonies are getting closer to blooming.

The little squirrels are still making me smile.  This one seems to be a natural model.

Squirrel_7337ewsI hope they stay here.  As a bonus, here’s Cinnamon’s girl, Sage.

If you want to join me for Friday’s Hunt, I have the items for the next one listed in my sidebar.

Today I’m joining Macro Monday, Shadow Shot Sunday, The Good. The Random. The Fun.

Lovely pictures! All of them! I’ve never had the honor of having a butterfly perch on my arm! And you got a very nice shot, too! Sage is a real cutie!

Lighting and everything was perfect, but hard to photograph well when it’s sitting on your leg. LOL Sage is adorable!

What beautiful photos. I never seem to be able to find a butterfly that will keep still long enough for me to get a decent shot.

They do like to flit about. This one was pretty cooperative.

Love the squirrel it has such a cute face ! Our squirrels are all small with red fur. We don’t have the big grey once I saw for the first time in the States.

We actually have several kinds of squirrels. I lived in a town once that had black squirrels. Very cute.
