The Good: Sunshine! After so many rainy days this week and rain all day yesterday and today, I finally saw a bit of sunshine this evening.
Of course, it’s supposed to warm up and be sunny all week when I’m at work.
At least the days are longer, so I can hopefully get some stuff done in the evenings.
The Random: My sister stopped by today and gave me a cup and saucer. I think it’s an adorable set.
The Fun: Today, I made three batches of soap because I almost ran out over the weekend. Now they just need to cure for three weeks.
I also made my first batch of insect repellent lotion bars. I almost want bug season to be here so I can try it.
Almost.
I do hope you’ll consider coming back to join me for Friday’s Hunt. The list for this week is at the top of my sidebar.

That is a wonderful tea and saucer. (funny I know coming from a guy but I love’em) I’m intrigued about your insect repellent lotion. I use pretty strong deet stuff for my trail running and geocaching. Have a good week!
Great pictures of the rain drops and the sun peeking through the trees! Did you make yourself a cup of tea in your lovely new cup? Your soaps look good! 😃
it will be very interestingto see if the bug repelent works If it does it might be a great winner. Glad the sun returned
Your bug repellent intrigues me. A grand idea. And the water droplets are so delicate and pretty. A gorgeous tea set for you too.
As you get ready to more ‘stuff’ in the longer evenings, we settled down in front of our first fire of the autumn tonight; same planet different world!

Hello, pretty captures of the sunlight on the droplets. Your new tea cup is beautiful. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
I love that last shot of the sun reflected in the drop. If you lived here you could already try out the bug lotion as they are already here. In fact they never quite leave.
I am so excited to try the bug lotion! I love the cup and saucer, beautiful.
The dew drops on the grass, so lovely!
You have been a busy bee ! I hope I will get a shot of energy, this cold weather takes all away !
Love that first shot!
Hooray for sunshine (and for long evenings — I love DST — even though I am not all that busy; I can understand how you would love it. Hope the insect repellent works — mosquitoes get more scary by the day. They used to be just an annoyance, now , who knows what evils they can cause!
A very productive weekend.
It was. Just the way I like them!
We are in desperate need of rain here. Wildfires are getting out of control again, and I’m going to have to water my gardens soon.
That is a pretty little tea cup and your soap looks wonderful!
Have a great week.
I do hope you get some rain. We really needed the rains we got last week.
the rain drops were a favorite, brilliant on the chain link fence. the soap is pretty, i did not realize it had to sit for so long!!!!
Thanks. It was really pretty with the sunshine right after the rain. The soap is quite the process from milking the goat to taking into the shower. LOL
“Almost want bug season” – LOL I know the rained in feeling. We had one day of sunshine (the day before I came home) the week I was looking after the grandkids. Nice raindrop shots, and that’s a gorgeous cup and saucer.
It’s a definite almost. Hope you had a good week with the grandkids.
We had a great time – at least, I did. 😀
