Friday’s Hunt v1.18

29 Apr

Welcome back to Friday’s Hunt.  I want to thank everyone who joined in last week.  I had a lot of fun visiting everyone who linked up.  I’m excited for week eighteen!  It’s very simple.  Anyone can participate.  The link opens at 7pm Central time and will close Sunday at 7pm, so you have plenty of time to enter. Hopefully, you’ll be inspired to visit some of the other entries.

If you didn’t participate this week but would like to next week, the topics will be:  Starts with S, Week’s Favorite, and smile.  I will always keep a list of the items for the coming week in my sidebar at the top. Without further ado, here’s my interpretations for the week.

Starts with R:  I thought this tree was perfect for a lower case letter r.  Of course, the goats wanted to come help me when I went out to photograph it.  They like to help like that.

We’ve had some nice rains this week.  It’s making the grass nice and green.  I’m sure the robin likes the wet ground for catching worms.

Week’s Favorite:  Even though the crab apple blossoms are past their prime, I really liked this picture.  It reminds me that I should take my camera off its auto settings more often.

Texture:  Each of the animals have their own unique texture.  Llenny’s wool is amazingly soft.  I have an e-mail in to the guy who sheared him last year, but I haven’t heard back from him yet.  I don’t know who I’ll get to shear him if I can’t get this guy.

Bud has short hair.  He had a visit with the vet this week because he was straining to urinate.  It seems that with the constant dripping after the bladder marsupialization, he has some scald.  It was scabbing over.  We have it open and clean, and I have a spray to try and promote healing.  Poor boy.

Now it’s your turn!

I’m also sharing with Random 5 Friday, Fun Friday Favorites, and Willy Nilly Friday.

Great lower-case ‘R’ there! I love your furry textured animals there, and Lien’s wool would make a fine sweater – soft and luxurious! Bud looks great in short hair, very photogenic. Too bad about his issues, he looks like such a nice guy…

Bud is a sweet, sweet guy. I’m sure he’ll get healed up. It’s kind of an off and on thing because of his surgery. But he seems pretty happy.

I love the blossom pic! so very pretty!

    • Teresa April 29, 2016 at 10:10 pm #

Thanks! I sometimes forget that I’m photographing something other than a bouncing goat.

Poor Bud. I hope he gets back to his normal. Such pretty little flowers. And happy goats!

    • Teresa April 29, 2016 at 10:10 pm #

He already seems better. The good cleaning by the vet helped, and I got a spray to help promote healing.

Great r in the tree for this week. Your goat photos make you want to reach out and touch the.

    • Teresa April 29, 2016 at 10:11 pm #

Most of the goats would enjoy that!

I really enjoyed your pictures! The “r” is great! I have to chuckle about your goats following you around. That’s cute. I’m sorry Bud is having problems again. He’s such a special boy!

    • Teresa April 30, 2016 at 6:57 am #

They really do. At least Bud’s problems this time are more nuisance than life threatening. Hopefully, we can get it healed up again soon.

Bud sure looks good, though. Hope he heals quickly. That can’t feel very good. Nice ‘r.’ How nice of the goats to help!

    • Teresa April 30, 2016 at 6:58 am #

The goats are always a good “help”. Thanks for the good thoughts for Bud.

Hello, I love this idea of Friday’s Hunt. How do we link and how can I view others who have linked? I think this is such a fun idea. I’ve been looking for fun weekly posts such as this. I’m sorry about your Bud, it’s not fun being sick. I have a 3 year old hen who is not well herself this week. I hope your Bud heals thoroughly and soon. I loved everything about your post, pictures and all- so creative and fun. Your photos are vibrant and so clear, thanks for letting us have a glimpse of and share your world.

Once you publish your blog post, just copy the url of the post (not the blog), all you have to do is click on the blue button that says “Click to view and add your link!” That will take you to a new page where there are three boxes. Paste the url in the top box. In the second box put your name as you want it to be seen and the third box is for e-mail. Click “add your link” and you’re done! Then you can click on the other names to visit their posts. If you need help, I will be happy to do so.

I always prefer Llamas – they have that little stubborn smile on their face that cracks me up:)
Teresa, just to be sure: I do not consider your blog a business blog (you’ll understand when you happen to read the rules for my meme/challenge Seasons – so know you’re always free to participate:):) ) Have a great weekend!

    • Teresa April 30, 2016 at 6:59 am #

Llenny is a funny guy. I would love to join Seasons, but I’m at a point that I’m going to have to link to fewer memes. I am hitting my busy farm season. I will try to link up sometime.

With a little imagination I saw your “r” right away ! and the goats underneath are a nice decoration ! Llenny always has such a cute look ! Hope that Bud gets better soon !

    • Teresa April 30, 2016 at 6:59 am #

Thanks, Gattina. The goats are always right there to help decorate the pasture!

Hello, the lower case R is great. I love the pretty blossoms. LLenny and Bud are cuties, I hope Bud feels better soon. Thanks for hosting, enjoy your weekend!

    • Teresa April 30, 2016 at 7:00 am #

Thanks, Eileen! Hope you have a good weekend too.

Goats are helpful like that! 🙂 Those blossoms are so pretty…wish they could stay like that all summer, but I guess it would defeat their purpose!

your crabs are past bloom, I’m still waiting.

    • Teresa May 1, 2016 at 7:59 am #

Hope yours are blooming soon. I wish they could stay beautiful like that all summer long.

Llemy and the blossom are my favorite.
