Warm Heart Wednesday

10 Feb

It warms my heart to do things that are appreciated.  I know these little ones were happy to have me fill the feeders for them today.

You basically have a bird calendar or greeting cards in those pictures. Gorgeous

    Hi Teresa,
what a lovely collection of cute little birds! I haven’t been lucky enough to see any of the bright red ones in Central Park this winter. There hasn’t been much snow, so maybe they just don’t stand out as much when the background isn’t white. So beautiful!

These all showed up because we’ve had snow recently. That makes it hard to find food on their own.

Your bird photos are so impressive!!

    • Teresa February 10, 2016 at 6:08 pm #

a lovely bunch. the cardinals are especially nice!

They were really cooperative today. They usually hide in the branches where I can’t photograph them.

    Beautiful pictures. They looked cold!

    • Teresa February 11, 2016 at 8:16 pm #

It was better this day because the winds had died down. We had horrible strong winds for the two days previous, so they were enjoying sitting out.

Nice for the birds, you have some pretty ones coming. They are brave though I’m sure they can’t do better when it’s cold. I saw “-7” for Center Point (my sister’s residence) for tomorrow night. I don’t see how the birds make it. Straw nests can’t be very warm.

    • Teresa February 12, 2016 at 6:26 pm #

We’re supposed to be -6. Of course, down is supposed to be the warmest natural fill for a coat.
