The Good: It’s been another cold weekend. When you can’t get above -4*F (-20*C) by lunch time, that’s the day for a yummy vegetable and barley soup.
The Random: Saturday I was out checking on everyone with the cold. When I went to take a picture of Minnie, I noticed someone checking me out.
You know you’re interesting when the llama finally comes too close for a macro shot.
The Fun: I counted nine batches of soap that I need to make and three more that I probably should make. I ordered my oils/fats, and then I’ll once again make soap in my kitchen.
I dearly hope my soap room is finished by the time I have to clean it up. As much fun as it is to make soap, I’m really ready to move it out of my living quarters.
I do hope you’ll consider coming back to join me for Friday’s Hunt. The items are in the top of my sidebar. You can participate in all three items or just one.

Llemy’s close up made me laugh. Pretty colors in that soap but I do see why you want it out of your living quarters.
My Good, Random, Fun post will be up tomorrow.
Lenny really did get so close that I couldn’t even take a picture. I mean, his nose was on the camera sniffing. Silly guy. I do love soaping, but I really want my house back too.
Fun pix of LLenny! Your soup looks delicious. Have you ever shared the recipe?
There’s not a real recipe. LOL I just threw a bunch of veggies and stuff together.
Those shots of Llema are brilliant as are the soap and that soup does look yummy
Thanks, Margaret. Lenny is quite photogenic.
Lenny is certainly getting up close and personal. Maybe he wants to learn about the workings of the camera. And that soup looks so delicious.
He certainly thought it smelled interesting. Not sure if he was looking for photography tips or a snack though.
Oh, I love the Llama…he looks so soft to touch! The soup looks so good and hearty….I just love the addition of barley in soup.
I would love to touch him and pet him, but he’s very shy about that, so I don’t push my luck.
Llenny has such a sweet face ! love the macros they make me smile !
I do really like Llenny. He’s a good guy.
Hello, the soup is great for these cold winter days. I love the shots of your Llenny!
Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
Llenny is very photogenic when he’s far enough away for me to actually take a picture. LOL
The llamas are fun!
They are. They make great guardians for the goats too.
Gotta love Llenny.
Oh, I do! He makes me laugh.
your soup looks TOO delicious! YUM! and LLenny 😉 …
Thanks, Jandi.
Great photos, especially of Llenny. I would love to have enough land to get a llama but unfortunately I live with a garden not much bigger than a postage stamp 🙂
They do like their space. Llenny is in heaven with 40 acres to roam.
The llama macros cracked me up! How cute!
He really did just come right up, and I couldn’t even take a picture when he had his nose on the lens. Too close for macros even!
Llamas are just so sweet looking!
They are a lot of fun. I adore Llenny.
What adorable llama faces and yummy soup! Perfect for winter snowy weather.

Thanks, Donna. I think Llenny is adorable.
I recognized lLenny’s face in the link up right away, he’s an adorable guy. I just made my third pot of soup in under a week, thank heavens my hubby enjoys it as much as me and barley is a favourite ingredient to use.
Llenny is pretty recognizable. LOL I do love my soups too. Perfect in this cold weather.
The soaps look so pretty!
Thanks, Tamar. I’ve worked hard to make a good product.
Teresa, That is a really close llama! I expect that the soap will soon be made in a new space. Sylvia D.
Your “babies” are so adorable. are they mind-tempered? I don’t know that much about llamas. What beautiful soap! that one bar looks like rainbow sherbet.
Llenny was adorable that day! Do you wish he would let you pet him? I would want to! I love to stroke animals with their soft coats!
The thought of your beautiful soup makes me hungry! I’d have to leave out the barley though, rats, I must be gluten free. I enjoy making soup, too.
I dearly want to pet him. He’s getting more calm about me walking close when I’m feeding them hay, so we’re taking baby steps.
